Important Safety Information

Eryri Ramblers Past Walks 2026

Important Safety Information

Rambling involves certain risks and is based on self-reliance.

You are responsible for your own actions, decisions and safety and the safety of those around you.

The Information sheet  Taking Part in Group Walks applies to all participants. Please familiarise yourself with its contents.

For safety,  Eryri walk leaders prefer to control numbers on a walk and have the mandatory register pre-prepared to save time at the start.

This is why we ask you to book on our  Walks  page - it also enables us to send you helpful notifications about the walk you have booked.

Dogs on walks Policy

Eryri Ramblers Past Walks 2026

Important Safety Information

The North Wales Ramblers Area Council have given guidance on dogs and our walks:

"North Wales is predominantly a livestock farming area. Some members are frightened of dogs and others find them a nuisance on walks. We have narrow mountain and high cliff paths with sharp drops therefore Eryri Ramblers will not allow dogs on walks apart from registered assistance dogs.  Those with assistance dogs should contact the leader beforehand to discuss stiles or other obstacles on the route."
